About
Hello my name is Cornelia Enander but I like to go by Lia. I recently graduated from the University of Mary with a degree in Music Education. I graduated high school from a small school in Grenora ND in 2018. During my time in high school, I became deeply involved in band and choir and began teaching piano lessons as well as assisting middle school music classes. It was then that I decided I wanted to pursue a career in music education to allow others to share in my love of music.
My primary instrument is alto saxophone but I have played bari and tenor sax in various ensembles. I am also proficient in piano, violin, flute, guitar, and ukulele. In addition, I have had experience playing other woodwind, brass, string and percussion instruments. I have participated in and have conduct the banded and choir ensembles during my time at the University of Mary.
In my college experience, I have been involved in several ensembles including, concert band and choir, saxophone quartet, chapel choir, Jazz band, and pep band.
I love spending time with friends and cultivating relationships and community with my peers.
